Strange that they call these wired cameras. That's very misleading. They're Wireless for the network but you do have to plug them into Power.

Got a couple sets. I have a buncha v2's and a couple recently bricked after I did the FW update 😑. Have tried to recover using a microsd to reflash the FW but no luck

Wyze used to be good. They've crippled the app and firmware to push their features to sales. They continually remove features to make paid and have had ongoing security issues that take years to get fixed along with sending your data god knows where. I've used these since they were first released and while they tend to last hardware wise and they have good image and night vision, I no longer update firmware to prevent feature loss. Periodically they lose connection and it can take an hour of scanning the code and resetting to relink. I would be mindful of putting these anyplace remotely sensitive, despite their assurances otherwise they are not hard to access remotely. Ive switched to eufy.

Then it sends back to notify you of someone, I hear this is a significant delay compared to a v3 pro, but have yet to get my hands on a v3 pro.

Switched to eufy and never looked back. Wyze cams always had internet issues and the free video is capped to 12 seconds
