To my knowledge, this is the lowest it has ever been sold for by a reputable dealer. Excellent monitor for many purposes where you need a 43" gaming capable screen. Been watching this for a while and trying to talk myself out of getting one but it's so tempting at this price for my needs (virtual pinball).

A 43" is much more plausible to fit on a desk though.

I would give this a try if I was only using one monitor. Unfortunately it is BGR which means it needs cleartype, and Windows doesn't support cleartype on one monitor only. Frown

There's Better ClearType Tuner for Windows. Haven't tried it myself yet but it should work.

I already look into it. Unfortunately, all that actually does is remove the options in Windows that don't work and make the choices less confusing. Does not add individual monitor support.

I have this monitor. Purchased earlier in the year. I agree that BGR subpixel layout isn't ideal for text. I use this monitor for gaming and it's great.
