Is there any rambler that does not have a plastic or silicone lid? I feel somewhat unsafe with the hot liquid in contact with the non-metal materials.
An uninsulated metal lid would most likely burn your top lip. The plastic lids work just fine. This mug wouldn't have nearly 21,000 5- star review if it was bad

"Yes, all YETI drinkware and accessories are BPA free. Your YETI provides endless opportunities for outdoor adventure. The YETI Rambler family of drinkware is strong. Sure-handed. Sleek. And safe. That's because every Rambler we make is BPA-free from bottom to lid.
BPA is the more common name for Bisphenol A, a chemical compound linked to a variety of health issues and diseases. BPA is used in a variety of plastics - but not the YETI Rambler. All YETI drinkware is BPA-free, including Triple-Haul caps, MagSlider lids, and accessories" https://www.yeti.com/bpa-free.htm...BPA%20free

Uninsulated, maybe. This is insulated however. These are my go to coffee cups every morning, I never use them with lids.
Hope this doesn't come off in a "you are wrong" tone. Just meant it as an fyi.
I haven't used a 'normal' coffee cup in 2 years since I got a yeti. My normal routine had been to get into the office, make a cup of coffee in a paper cup, turn on the lights, get my voicemails, take a sip of coffee, check emails, next sip of coffee would be cold, microwave the coffee 4 or 5 times over the next hour and a half and now I have hot coffee for about 3 hours in the yeti. Also makes for no paper cups in the garbage every day.

You'd microwave your coffee 4 or 5 times... yikes.
