Don't ever buy Samsung and LG appliances unless you like to continually be repairing things. Lots of negative online comments for products from both of these shitty Korean companies.
Avoid Samsung refrigerators at all costs. They have a design flaw which makes them irreparable and cause numerous headaches such as not keeping an accurate temperature and water not draining properly . There are many groups on FB and Reddit that go over this. Worst experience I've had with any appliance I've ever owned.
PSA: I did a bunch of research before pulling the trigger on my Samsung fridge, and these comments are a bit misleading. There are articles out there that that discuss this situation and a big reason for the bad reputation was more to do with how fast Samsung was growing their USA sales volume without the proper infrastructure to help take care or QA/service issues. If you actually look at the data the service and return rates are not actually that bad.
Saw this fridge in store. Looks very good and has extra features the other versions don't have. One issue for people with back or knee problems is that the bottom part isn't very accessible without bending or kneeling. I wanted this model, but getting ice was going to be a painful chore. The 3 or 4-door french door version with the pull out freezer was the better option due to my health issues.
My 2004 LG fridge is still working with zero issues and 2008 Samsung just went out. Will be replacing it with a bespoke fridge. 14-18 years of good use is fair to me.

BUYER BEWARE…. Samsung makes the worst appliances. There is a whole Facebook group dedicated to getting refunds for poor manufactured refrigerators. I still currently have one including some of their other appliances and they all have had issues since purchase.
Is buying a Samsung less risky if I buy total tech membership?
Total Tech is a Total Trap because the extended warranty is only good as long as you keep the membership @ $200 a year. So for 5 years that's $1K. A plain old one time fee 3 or 5 year extended warranty would be a less expensive option.
We love ours as that flexzone came in super handy for Thanksgiving. The water pitcher has to be one of the best ideas yet that I've seen on a fridge. and there is a deal on Samsung's site where you can get free panels until next year when you purchase one. I combined that panel credit with the black friday sale so I have 3 sets of panels. Be warned they take up much more room storing them than I thought
Love the water pitcher too! Been really happy with ours but it's only been a few months so we'll see.
Bought a Bespoke 4 door family hub with the middle drawer over the summer for about this price. So far, all I can say are positive things. The pitcher does get mold in it so clean it monthly. But, yes, I agree overall the non-bespoke refrigerators are junk, but I think samsung made a quality product with this line.
So our 22 year old Fridgidaire went out earlier this year and our new Maytag wouldn't fit under the cabinet. We are doing a tear out in the kitchen eventually so we ended up grabbing that small 18cuft Samsung from Costco.
It is small but has been working just fine. No fancy features. Bottom drawer with the ice bin. Maytag is in the garage chugging away at 26.5cuft. Remodeling this summer hopefully.
Check out the Yale Appliance blog. They have a ton of articles on appliances and repair rates based on their service shop. Straight data.
