In general yes, but these last longer than anything else my dogs will chew. (If I give them something entirely indestructible they lose interest quickly.) One unfortunate side effect is terrible farting. laugh out loud
I second this, anyone that says $4 is too much for a yak bone probably hasn't tried one yet. Easily outlasts all other bone/chews by 10x or more, so it's well worth it.
I second this. My GSD eats most "long-lasting" chews in about 10 minutes. These last at least five days. When they get tiny, you can microwave them, and they puff up like a cheese doodle.

3-7 days. They are legit, and will occupy the dog for a long time. Mine gnaws on it for 30 minutes, leaves and comes back. Just be careful about it splintering. It's rare, but these can splinter into sharp shards with heavy chewers.

My dog loves these. Better than chewing on plastic IMO.

Really!? That's cool. I'll try it. Do you have to soak them in water or anything?

Some sites say to put them in water, but I don't. Just microwave it for like 45 seconds and then let it cool off.

We tried a sheep/water buffalo horn and our Aussie is obsessed. $10 at PetSmart and they range in sizes. Way cheaper than antlers and last super long so far.

Soak them in water for 5 minutes, microwave for 90 seconds and let cool. My dog loves them more that way

Are these considered soft, medium, or hard? I got some of those shin bones recently, and that resulted in a $1k vet bill for two broken teeth.

$4 for a chew treat is still too expensive

They do last quite a bit, unless your dog is a severe chewer like my English Bulldog, it'll still last him over 1 week, I've went with other knock off brands and he will go through thise in 3 days. I usually need the XL or XXL chew for him,

I say they are hard, which allows for them to last quite awhile with my 50lb aggressive chewer, Then when they get small, you can microwave them and then puff up like a cheese puff to be soft.

As an occasional treat containing clean simple ingredients, I believe this is worth the splurge. I guess I look at it the same as I do ordering an appetizer or dessert at a restaurant. I don't do it every time I dine out but doing so occasionally hasn't busted my budget yet. Since I'm willing to treat myself/my human family on occasion, it seems fair that the same goes for my dog.

Hard but unlike bone or a hoof, because this is a cheese product, the dog's saliva helps to soften the end of the treat they are chewing on at any given time.

per the label if you zoom in on the pick it seems they are hard (at least the cheese flavored and then the bacon flavored ones say hard).
