Children of Morta is EXCELLENT if you have someone to play it with in co-op. I think it's just OK in single-player, but my roommate and I loved playing the game on the couch. It also supports online co-op if you don't have someone physically nearby to play it with.
Before Your Eyes is a unique story-based game in which time skips forward every time you blink (it uses your webcam to detect blinks). Very cool.
Dishonored and Doom 2016 are obviously super-acclaimed games but you might already own them.
Three games I haven't played but am interested in:
Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun - Aiko's Choice is a stealth tactics game, and a standalone expansion of the original Shadow Tactics.
Barotrauma is a horror-themed online co-op game where you and your friends try and navigate your submarine and avoid sea monsters, mechanical failures, etc.
Cardpocalypse is like playing Magic or Pokémon in elementary school in the 90s.
Steam deck compatible was a nice touch in your list, thank you!

Just ordered our families first gaming PC for Christmas and looking to get a few starter games to have something ready after they open it... Any of these games good for a 7 and 10 year old? Is this pricing pretty typical or should I be grabbing these up when I see them (I dont know what to expect yet, haven't PC gamed since before video cards were a thing...)
