Mine does not have drain holes either, but it literally has never been an issue. They are small, quick to heat and easy to clean.
I clicked thinking about stocking stuffer potential (though, looks like the deal has expired AFAICT).
Anyway/lastly, if you are going to go after a product for 'carbon footprint' impact, is this really the product you want to target? Are these really any worse than half the stuff on here?
You don't want 'em or wouldn't use them? Cool, no problem... but I think your criticism is pretty unfounded, IMO (borderline nutty).
