Because just like Connecticut, they want us to know we should save energy by not looking.

In the product description, there is text highlighted in green that says "Rebates starting at...". At the end of that paragraph, click on "see rebates". It will bring up a dialog that asks for your zip code.

Be forewarned, the rebate listed in my area had already expired 5 months ago, and the Amazon page doesn't say that.

Amazon has more rebates available through their search system compared to Google. Some of the zips I searched for yielded several rebates, however, the same rebates were not there from Google.

I'm seeing $129.99 and when I put my zip code in their rebate finder it says: "Sorry, we couldn't find any offers in your area."

Amazon's price is $89.99 and they show a $50 rebate for my state.
