If you're only needing a headphone for music and calls, keep the XM4s for be better ANC. If you need something more versatile (Gaming, conferencing, DAC with audio mixer and audio volume balancer, a hot swappable battery, line in/out, quickly switching between two USB sources, simultaneous Bluetooth and USB audio sources playing at once), go with these.

Side note, get the cooling gel ear pads linked below for a huge comfort upgrade. These also make the ANC nub in the ear cups no longer make contact with your ears.

This is the best price we've seen for this since Amazon/Best Buy/Gamestop had it for $250 outright in October.

Oh so this does have Bluetooth, how many devices can be connected at once? It pissed me off so many modern headsets only allow one when my turtle beach PX51's or whatever from that era could connect to two and that was at the end of ps3 era when that was just becoming a possibility with Bluetooth (juggling connections without constantly re-pairing)

Is there anything very much like this from a brand that makes superb music quality headphones? Or maybe a standalone receiver that allows you to make a setup like this with "high end" pair of headphones ?

Its the best wireless headset Ive used (most review sites agree). Ive used the Turtle Beach Stealth 700, Audeze Penrose, Astro A50s, Razer Blackshark V2 Pro, and I still own the Steelseries Arctis 7p. My recommendation is if you wanna spend less... consider the Stealth 700 Gen 2 max...or (wired) Sennheiser PC38X.

The sound quality and features of this Nova Pro package make it superior to all of these wireless headsets, especially if you dabble w the EQ a bit (theres easy tutorials out there if youre unfamiliar). Mind you, I got mine for $250.

The one exception in my above statement, the ($300 msrp) Audeze Penrose is actually the best sounding wireless headset Ive ever used. That said the wireless transmitter in my experience was the worst I've ever encountered. Id done every troubleshoot you could...to no avail. A far cry from my Steelseries excellent connection. People also complain its uncomfortable and plastic headband prone to crack. All headphones have flaws and risks...but with all this I can only recommend a Penrose with caution.

I should mention the Steelseries is known to cause some folks discomfort due to the ANC piece inside the ear cup. I didn't experience this, but still felt they were not as comfortable as my old Steelseries. I purchased wicked cushions cooling gel pads and now theyre perfect.
Can you tell me which cushion cooling gel are you bought?

Mine was supposed to arrive today, up until today it was "still scheduled for on-time delivery." Then I get an email that it is delayed until February 4th >.< That is poor customer support and inventory management.

Did anyone else get the notification that dell is not shipping until February? This is so frustrating I needed them before Christmas, not to mention best buy had a sale for $250 last, and now that it's over, Dell announces that they cannot fulfill orders until February. What a joke of a company.

I spoke to customer service through chat. They said the delivery it's not until February 1st but my order status still says Dec 28th. I want to take advantage of the amex deal $40 back of $200 otherwise i would buy from Bestbuy.
