I just bought 6 of these at $15. They are very bright and it is nice to have them turn on walking into the shop. I can't say how long they will last, but they work good for me.

being a low profile light they might be okay for under cabinets to light up counters, but you might have to put some kind of shield on the front side so they dont blind you.
