I hated the Contend 6's. I wore them once and then put them in the donation pile. Such a downgrade from the 5's. Pay the few extra bucks for the 7's. Trust me there is a reason why they are pretty much giving the 6's away.

If the SAVINGS code is not working for you, it is likely because you chose a different color. Only the colors listed in the OP will accept the code. Look just above the area where all the color options are displayed, if the code will apply there will be some red text that shows: "40% off with code SAVINGS".

A lot of y'all serious runners seem to have issues with these. For the less ambitious types like myself, who will stick to such things as light sports (i.e. pickleball), biking, walking on trails, and light weightlifting - would you change your tune and recommend these, given the affordability and lack of need for a serious running shoe?

Ive tried many of these 20-30 asic shoes like the contend line. For me these offer good cushion and a great price for an everyday or even light sports shoe.

Having said that, when i picked up running treadmill/road running and purchased my first pair of saucony shoes from sd. I will be spending atleast 50+ for saucony, brooks, or a maybe a higher well reviewed asics for exclusively running everytime as i do find them superior for it.

I just sent a pair of those back. They were at least a full size larger than all of the other other Asics shoes that I've had. Just taking them out of the box I could see that they were huge. But they were the wide version. Maybe they make those a little larger overall or something. I have another pair of the normal width coming on Monday. See how those fit.

The link goes crazy — flips around and gives you a blank white screen with the word salesforce as part of the link . Same thing happened on the other deal site that listed this 3 days earlier. I have to just put asics.com into the url bar and then search for the shoe
