I recently got the LG 49in ultrawide and have been looking for a mount to free-float it. Came across Monoprice Heavy-Duty Single-Monitor. Reviews are good, and it's far less than other offers Amazon[amazon.com], Walmart[walmart.com], Target,[target.com]and Newegg[newegg.com] have it at the original price or more, while Monoprice has 25% off plus free shipping.

looks like amazon has it for the same price. i may buy it from amazon because of the ease of returns if it doesn't work out. i want to use this on the 43" TCL TV from Target for $150 on BF. i'm using it as a 4K monitor. having an arm will give me more space on my desk. i believe the TV is 16lbs and this arm supports up to 39lbs. thanks for this. i hope it works out.
Let me know how it works! I did the same Target deal and have been wanting to put it up on an arm.

according to the TV manual the VESA measurement behind the TV is 200x200. this arm goes up to 200x100. i may get this adapter from amazon https://smile.amazon.com/gp/produ...GYZ0&psc=1
but my amazon order is shipping between december 8-28 haha. gonna be a few weeks still but i have the adapter on save just in case i need it

I have my Target 43" TCL on a ERGear 36lb max longer arm and it works fairly well. Changing the tilt is a little sketchy only because the TV feels too thin plastic. But moving height and position is easier on a less capable arm. So this one will work out even better for you if you don't mind the less flexibility of a shorter arm.

i will try this monoprice first but thanks for sharing another option
A little confused they would say that when the G9 supports a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount and the arm in question supports that. The G9 is also around 31lbs without the stand, so... how confusing.
I think a lot of people misunderstand why a lot of stands "wont work"
It's the tilt function which probably wont work, the actual weight of the screen means nothing as anything can hold it.
It's the sheer weight of the screen in the middle where the tilt is. I bought a semi cheap amazon arm that holds it pretty well so far, but as someone said here you have to tilt it all the way up and tighten down. I've had mine up for a day and half.
The expensive arms have a special spring mechanism like the oem Samsung stand to work tilt. Imho? They are worth it, just not worth 300-400
Screw monoprice, I lose my wall mount not realizing I would need it for a desktop mount. Been looking everywhere online for it and the Monoprice CS basically told me they don't sell it.
Which is ridiculous. I told them I was just going to buy a new monitor and take the wall mount and return it lol

I just set it up yesterday. I had to turn the tension way up before it would hold but it's working great!
Great. Thanks for the feedback!
