So confused with all these deals. This is IPs and hdr, but if I have a budget of 500$ would this be the best? I mean 250$ is great, I want to do business work ie excel sheets and gaming on ps5.

I eventually went with an IPS display as the gamma shift from a VA panel was too annoying. It's especially noticeable with a 34" non-curved display. Not sure whether a curved panel makes the gamma shift less noticeable on a VA panel. I wasn't planning on gaming so 60hz was fine for me but there are monitors that go well past 100hz refresh rate. Check out rtings.com for their recommendations.

I ended up going up with the 34WQ73A-B and liking it so far. It had the 90W power delivery, usb-c connectivity, and KVM function - it really cleared a ton of cables away from my setup. Both Work and home laptops - no gaming, no ps5, so 60 Hz ok for me. One warning - my windows 11 laptop (Lenovo AMD V14 also slick deal) was a little weird with the LG ultrawide - took some driver creativity to get to the right ultrawide setup. Windows 10 work laptop was just plug and play.

do you have the link to the IPS one you went with? Do you game on consoles as well with this minotir?

It was a dell p3421w from dell outlet. with cb from another site, it was ~$260ish. no gaming on it though.
