That's so funny because of this 2021 article using this exact album as an example… They pressed half a million copies on vinyl, clogging up the plants in the middle of the supply chain crisis when smaller artists couldn't get anything pressed… https://www.vox.com/the-goods/202...ain-delays

I bet plant managers loved this order, it's better to work on one large order vs multiple small ones when they had to create new matrix, color, graphics, packaging, etc. for each small artist run.

Plus, they have to deal with the artist, everything I record is spun gold so a double album when it should be single.

Music fans that buy vinyl hate this record. Personally I had preorders that took 6 months to come in because no one could get anything pressed for a long time. And now it's clearance bin fodder.

FWIW, Amazon has the white vinyl version of this for $16.90, if that's important to you. I've seen 'like new' Warehouse versions listed for around this price before (though there aren't any at the moment).
