Costco has $150 off the Blink 5 Camera Security System, making it 50% off. Deal looks to be running 12/1-12/25. Free shipping and also available in store. I've been eyeballing this system for a while and this is the lowest price I've seen.

$10/month or $100/year for subscription.

Without subscription, Sync Module 2 and USB storage is needed for motion detection video recording and local storage backup. No live recording without paying the subscription fee, also no video sharing.

Sync Module 2 is another $34.99 for up to 10 cameras, if purchased separately. This bundle includes the Sync 2.

The Costco listing indicates it includes the Sync 2 module in the box-

"Includes: 3 Outdoor Camera System (Sync Module 2 included in box), 1 Outdoor Add-on Camera, 1 Mini Indoor Plug-in Camera, Mount Kits, 1 Yard Sign"

Seems like a decent deal.

Wish they wouldn't include the useless indoor camera and have an additional outdoor one instead

Anyone have experience with the quality of these cameras, footage (motion, night), and user interface?

I was thinking I'd put the indoor camera in my garage. Should work good for that. I agree an extra battery version would be nicer to have, but to save $40 vs the 5 outdoor cam kit on Amazon seems like a decent trade off.

May deals on this forum like this. I got them for $12 each. I tried used-very good and it very brand new. Not easy to get those as they get sold out fast.

I have a handful of these blink cameras, and they were fine for a year or two.
but then the hub stopped connecting and currently no cameras are actually working.

it's possible I could fix things by uninstalling and reinstalling, but I haven't made time to do that, yet.
and it annoys me that I cannot watch blink cameras as I would a security camera, where wyze can do that.

on the plus side, their notifications and recordings to the cloud are much more frequent than wyze competitors (not referring to paid wyze service, just the free version which only records once every 5 minutes).

These are PURE GARBAGE as a "security camera"

The ONLY thing I would use these for is to check on things like "is it cloudy outside" "is the pool water level good" - things that you can check in on and get your answer. MAYBE pointing at a door from the inside in a vacation house, just to make sure no one comes into the house..

Night time they are horrendous for outside from a window viewing... they will alert on ANY motion, the APP IS PURE TRASH...

I was given 3 of these from amazon to suffice for them shutting down the cloud cam service. They are sitting in a box and I now have multiple wyze cameras that are light years ahead of the blink system. The app is better, making RULES in the wyze app allow you freedom to control things I've never seen in other systems...

Go grab some wyze v3 cams.. I have no idea what to do with these blink trash cams.

So those were new products being sold as refurbished goods? If so, that's a great deal! Seems like a gamble though.

Yes, these deals go on and off very often. Very hard to catch though due to limited inventory but most people who got on those reported the cameras come sealed just like new, like how I did.

But you still end up with a terrible camera and app system.

Back in stock as of 12/20.... But I'm trying to figure out why I'm being charged tax on the full $300 and not the discounted price of $150.

I may have to reach out to Costco for some sort of partial refund.
