Allstate (aka SquareTrade) warranty is a joke. No burn in covered.
If these are just returns from the past couple months deals then you're likely receiving a next to new one. But they don't say for sure.

Checking hours on the C1 according to a reddit post.
"General > Devices > TV Management > TV Information and it pulled up my Power on Time hours."

They were good with a previous Tv warranty for me. Just explained the issue, took a photo of the serial number and they issued me a check a week later for the full amount I paid.

Edit: you have to pay to dispose of the Tv yourself though

Free returns though. How does everyone feel about that?

What issue did the TV have?

Dead pixels and backlight issue. They didn't even ask for photos, just had to explain the issue, and they were quick to process the warranty. I'm sure it's ymmv but for me it was painless and I buy their warranties now because how great they have been. (Previously bought a dehumidifier and it died, same refund process via Allstate quick and easy!)

I think it's pretty dumb to spend 1.8k for a refurb tv

How long ago was this? I've heard some absolute nightmare stories about allstate refusing to honor warranties

I had to call them 10 times to get the dead remote replacement $40. I will be curious how that guy got a check for a full tv, unless he is affiliated 😂

Free returns mainly mean that you cannot be charged a restocking fee… But the buyer has to pay return shipping unless you can prove the item is defective or damaged.

Somehow I get the feeling that was a much smaller and cheaper TV… I seriously doubt they would say to just dispose of a $1800 TV.

But it's nice to know that they seemed pretty flexible…

Their standard return policy is a little extraordinary…not in a good way: They require that any damage to the set be reported within one day of receipt according to their return policy. Most people don't have the time to set up a TV within 24 hours of receiving it, especially one this size.

I've never ordered a TV through eBay or anywhere online.

How do returns work? Just print the shipping label and take it to UPS or FedEx?

It says seller pays return shipping.
