I got the black one last time and just ordered the gray one earlier today before seeing this posted. It's a solid bag, not super thick but feels durable enough for the price. The lack of all but one zipper gives me hope that it will last longer than previous cheap bags I've had whose zippers inevitably broke.

I actually took it on a Frontier flight with me as my sole personal item over Thanksgiving. I have a different bag that's sized perfectly to Frontier's personal item dimensions but I heard Frontier has gotten really strict about that lately, and the problem with that other bag is that the sides bleb out if I pack my clothes too tightly (I usually roll them). I didn't want to take any chances and this bag was well within the limits and plus can even cinch down a bit to provide some compression. The mesh on the side was plenty deep so I never worked about my water bottle falling out even sideways through the x-ray machine, which I can't say for many other bags I've had. Plus the hydration pouch holder was the perfect size for my 13" MacBook Air and it stops a bit short of the bottom of the bag, so even though there was no padding the clothes at the bottom of my bag kept it padded whenever I set my bag down.

It was actually quite nice to travel with and I'm getting a second one to use as my climbing gym bag (which was the original purpose for the first purchase) so I can keep the first bag as a last-minute weekend trip bag.

As a climbing gym bag, I was able to throw in lifting shoes, climbing shoes, a climbing harness, chalk bag, belay device, and glasses case without having to play Tetris (they would have fit even better if I'd actually bothered to fit them properly instead of just shoving them in).

Hope some of that is helpful to someone!

A little thin and flimsy. No support on the straps but it's worth it for the price. Better than using a draw string if you're packing a lot of stuff

Yeah, these are basically drawstring bags. I ordered one, I use it for quick packing. That is all. Not something I would want on my back or hiking with. The straps would cut into you if the bag is heavy.

I got the black one for the same price last month, black is now 3 dollars more. It is basic sack small size, 20L. My only gripe is it is narrow. So, when you stuff a lot of items in it, then you will be struggling to get to small item at the bottom. Nevertheless, for $5.xx is a good deal for quick grab, but not to replace your full size decent backpack.

I think the original price is 9.44 and NOT 19.77 as OP listed it.

I ordered two last time and they were marked as delivered when they werent.... I waited 3 days before telling Walmart (sometimes stuff is tagged delivered when it's not) so they made a replacement order. That one arrived 2 days later...

....3 days after that, the original shipment showed up. Called Walmart about what to do because I dont need my account flagged as fraudulent over 11 bucks and they said just keep them.

TL : DR, yes, 4 backpacks for 11 bucks is indeed a super slick deal Big Grin

Is the Eddie Bauer one worth it for $15 compared to this at $5.50?

I don't think the eddie bauer deal will ever happen again (glad they honored the purchase back then) but now they have the same $10 off but only on purchases of $25+.

Spend a bit more and get the front page deal REI 22L backpack. I have tried both and the REI bag is my perfect daypack. After using it for a hike and 1/2 day of backcountry skiing I am getting rid of my REI Flash 18, Osprey Daylite, Eddie Bauer Stowaway 20, all of which were bought as FP deals over the years. Only bag I'm keeping is the Osprey Syncro 15 for mountain biking.
