Works great good price. Has helped me cut and sand trim in tight places and cut outlet holes in drywall. Note that this model is known for getting the battery stuck. Probably has something to do with the high vibration. I was able to pry mine out after a few attempts. Doesn't get stuck as much anymore.

This is a great multi tool. On par with the top brands and at a great price. I've never had the battery stuck, but I guess it can happen. If you're new to the kobalt ecosystem and need batteries and charger, you can pick up the 24v brushless drill with a 2ah, 4ah and charger for $83.27 YMMV brickseek link below. Two brushless, useful tools for ~120. Lowes frequently clearances out random tool only for cheap prices, so for me it has been a great value ecosystem to be in. They also have the 6 1/2 circ saw for $55, recip saw for $69, tower light for $99, etc.

Just to add to that, if you do need a starter kit in the Kobalt line, the 2x4Ah battery kit (including charger) can be bought for $150 and you get a 'free tool' with a fairly long list of choices. So if you are just buying into the line that is another great way to get started.
Just my 2 cents since I have this unit. It works fine IF you don't already have one and just need one to use. However, it will vibrate so much your hands will go numb after a short time and the power isn't impressive. The newer generations of oscillating tools like the ryobi HP model has so much LESS vibration on it and significantly more power. I have both and the kobalt has not been used since the ryobi hp was bought.

What's the difference between this and the newer model oscillating tool?
The battery on this model runs perpendicular to the grip, the new one runs parallel. Old one has a dial for speed control with 6 settings, new one has a variable speed trigger with 3 speed selector. I own this one but I would assume they improved vibration, this tool is a couple years old at this point and vibration is significantly better than the brushed ryobi I own.

My Lowe's shoes 6 in stock but when I call them they say they don't know what I'm talking about >.<
Don't call the store to check on inventory. It's very possible the employees may want the product for themselves and you have now alerted them to the clearance price. Go to the store and look for it yourself. It's likely on top shelf stock or another location in store. Don't expect product to always be where it should when item is being clearanced. Yes their inventory may be off but if the item has enough value to you for the price you will make the effort.
Storehad plenty of them without a price on the shelf. It was part of a Kobalt buy one of these three tools with batteries and get one of these three tools without batteries for free.
Showed the clearance price from a bunch of other Lowe's, would not honor it because systemwide Lowe's inventory showed it was not on sale at that store.
Even Target will match the online price in store.
If only the battery had a lifetime warranty or it was corded. I learned long ago, occasional use cordless tools are useless when the battery is wore out. A replacement battery is too much money.

One to cut and the other to free the battery
