Posting this as it's the cheapest I've seen for a 10W output unit

Creality Laser Engraver CV-30 Pro CR Falcon 10W is going for $299.99 (it was $249.99 but just changed). Can confirm it's the 10W and not 5W version as mine just arrived. This is delivered by amazon but from Microcenter store. I believe it's a price mistake as the 5W version is supposed to be on-sale for $249 and the page show's the 5W version for $349.

Yeah, I bought a laser for my 3d printer, thinking, thinking I'm going to laser stuff all the time. 2 years later, I have lasered one item rather poorly, haha.

Do these need an enclosure to be safe or the little cover around them head shields you from the laser. I won't be looking at it directly of course just trying to figure out the normal safe usage

Not all the specs are equal. Looking at the specs on amazon.... the $250.00 model only has a tiny 300mmx300mm work area.. almost half of the others which is 400mm x415mm.
