I used it for a hike to Mauna Loa, it was not rainy. After an hour of wearing it water (sweat) was running down on my legs. My clothes were soaking wet. It is absolutely not breathable. Since then I only use it around the house when it is pouring outside. While $25 is cheap you can do better by spending $60-$100 and get yourself a good breathable rain jacket like REI COOP Rainier. The best of the best is apparently Patagonia Torrentshell.

Good price, I got one of these about a year ago for $5 more. It was terrible for exercising, I'd wear it on tough hikes and for some odd reason it would collect a lot of water (sweat, I guess) in the arms. I've never had a jacket do that; I suppose it doesn't breathe at all. I ended up giving it to Goodwill. Probably OK for day to day casual wear.

Bought this a few years back.

Thin jacket but excellent at keeping the heat in, but can retain some of your body's moisture if you "seal" all the openings up. Hood can be rolled and tucked in the collar area so you dont see it. Has an inner mesh pocket on the left side. The side hand pockets have zippers to close them up. End of sleeves also has a velcro tie to close in to your wrists, as well as a drawstring at the bottom of the jacket so air doesnt get in. Waterproof as well and my go to rain jacket.

This price is a steal, although i dont fancy the colors.

Got it 3 years ago for $30. Its a solid jacket for what it is supposed to do. Wore few times in my hikes and keeps the rain out from you. Packs well and doesn't take up much space and doesn't weigh much. Go for it if you need a rain jacket.

I've searched the product details, any idea if it has any form of UV protection?

Not breathable, so I wouldn't use it as a daily rain jacket. But great to stash in the car for emergency use or unexpected downpours.

I have a Orville creek jacket. It has an odd Jersey cloth material lining, so probable retains moisture. Is the sizing similar! TTS?
