Samsung has HW-S61B 5.0ch All-in-One Soundbar w/ Wireless Dolby Atmos on sale for $100. I believe this is the white color version of S60B, which was on front page deal not long time ago for $140. You'll need Samsung EPP account to get this price.

This is more like a smart 5.0 speaker that supports AirPlay, BT, Chromecast, and Spotify connect. If you have a Samsung TV, it could do more like wireless connection and Q-Symphony. I don't count on its sound quality in this compact form at this price tag (Let's say sub $200, $100 is a steal). However the rtings review for S60A is not that bad. The updated S60/61B also claims Atmos support but there's no height / upfiring speaker, so it just decodes the most common format used in streaming and use the metadata for their spacefit (?) feature. Besides the lack of subwoofer, I suppose you are only going to feel some differences with soundbars above $500. Or some regular home theaters out of the cursed soundbar form.

Been considering a sound bar, have a marshall speaker connected right now. Is it worth it?

Just starting to get into appreciating sound

I got it for $140 in that last deal, I like it quite a bit more than the Q600B I'm replacing, although my subwoofer didn't work on that anyways. It's not on the same level as $500+ soundbars (I have a Vizio Elevate for my main TV), but the bass is shockingly good without a subwoofer. $100 is insane, ordered a second as a Christmas gift and putting in a price match request for my first order.

I think a soundbar with atmos speakers/a subwoofer or rear speakers like a Vizio V51 would be better if it's your main soundbar that you're going to watch movies/play games on, I've just been using mine for YouTube, TV shows, and light music and it's been very impressive. Will try a movie on it tomorrow to compare a bit better.

I have a relative with a buggy Yamaha + sub Soundbar, it sounds great but she has to reset the power after a while to make the controls works so she can adjust the volume. She also has a Samsung q60 qled tv. I'm thinking of getting her a new Soundbar that isn't buggy, would I be able to connect her subwoofer to this?
