If I'm using thread locker on something that means I'm concerned about it coming lose. I'm going with a brand that tried and true...Loctite brand ! Just my opinion.
This is likely just rebranded Loctite.

I doubt Amazon has it's own chemists and R&D department making a new formula for threadlocker.
OP it's not 20 oz it's .2 oz.

So how serious is Amazon in getting into the automotive sector? Will we be seeing an Amazon EV by decade's end, if not way sooner?

Seriously, though, what else are they selling under their own brand besides oil and threadlocker? Coolant? Brake fluid? Grease?

some quick deal comparison. similar loctite brand is ~3x the price:
https://www.amazon.com/Loctite-He...000I1RSNS/
https://www.amazon.com/Loctite-Th...000FP8EUS/

I can say that I have had some of the Loctite for YEARS (10+) in the little tube and it still works. Used it last year to keep a door catch from unscrewing itself and worked fine. Not sure I'd trust it on something more critical like an engine component, though.

High strength also available in 50mL bottle @$6.39. I'm pretty sure they test these things before putting up for sale and considering if bolt is tightened to correct torque it probably shouldn't get undone this is just an extra "help" for "just in case". At least on brake bracket bolts it did it's job since it wasn't easy to get them undone when I had to replace rotors again.

They sell motor oil I believe, and they own maybe 10% of Rivian so they're already in EVs.

Was just fixing someone's clothing drying rack that has screws that constantly get loose and was thinking of getting some of this. Thanks OP.

Heat it with a torch or flame.

I work in the automotive industries (30+ years) was told years ago form a Loctite rep that even if past the expiration date even 5 years it's still good. We use the jugs and he said it just leeches thru the plastic.

Probably right but the price difference isn't that much to roll the dice IMO

It's not, yet it is we are talking about we are talking about one being 3x as expensive as the other.
