Make sure you purchase just the headphones and not the "fantastic" AppleCare + bundle. These are still $200 on Amazon (Costco as well for those that have one nearby and want extra warranty and return policy from Costco).

Somehow the bundle on Amazon with AppleCare + is $278 which is hilarious because AppleCare + is the next recommended item right below the headphones, for the regular $29.

Another reason to get it from Costco is the earliest delivery date from Amazon is December 11-12. You'd might be able to get it earlier from Costco.

That's target losing money on their own gc applicable to anything. You can't attribute that discount to the AirPods when it is target-wide.
