The certification is not for quality assurance, but rather for the cable to be true HDMI 2.1 specs. This cable is NOT certified.

don't think this is that high-end of HDMI cable that needs certification for quality assurance.

What's the point of getting it then? A cable is a one time investment.

I'm not saying certification is useless. Of course it's a quality assurance. But what I'm saying is this is a rather low-end HDMI cable now that I'm willing to bet it will work just fine even though it's "not certified".

If it were the 80Gbps ones then sure I'd look for certified.

Spend another $10 and get a certified cable. It's worth it to have the peace of mind that you got something that actually is the speed it says it is. https://a.co/d/i5JQDIJ

Those are the ones that Vincent recommended as they are one of the first to certified their cable. Applause
