Good to see the price of this one falling. It was about $79 couple of years back when introduced. The good thing is that it accepts the cheaper Original Nespresso pods and cuts the monopoly. Lets see if this falls further.

There's also the L'OR[amazon.com] (by Philips) Barista System for a similar price, $129 after coupon. It also uses original Nespresso pods as well as its own proprietary ones. I ordered one on Cyber Monday. Haven't received it yet.
I have the 2-in-1 and I love it. So nice to switch between K-Cups (which my wife prefers) to Nespresso pods (which I prefer). To my taste, quality is quite good with both. This adds the functionality of brewing your own grounds with their own reusable pod. I've heard others complain that the conventional reusable K-cups don't play nicely with this machine. Too messy, too much grounds in the coffee, etc. Hope that their own pod fixes this problem.

I'm curious how these two compare.
