Yes, even if the hosts policy is free cancellation you are still only allowed 3 per year. If you go over, you are required to pay the service fee. I believe the fine print is buried in airbnb's policy. I found out the hard way but may have had one refunded when I complained about the lack of transparency to the policy.

I did 6x in an order and showed 6x Target GC that went through. I got all the Airbnb GCs quickly, but it's been 30 min and no Target GCs delivered yet. Hope they didn't kill it...

Airbnb is great for Europe where it is sometimes hard to get rooms for 4 people. Stayed exclusively at Airbnbs during a 2 week trip of Italy and it was great.

I finally received all six of the Target GCs to my email a bit over 2 hours after placing the order. They were not added to my Target account automatically, and I've added them one by one, all worked

I alternate between airbnbs and hotels depending on what's a better deal. Their service fees have been essentially the same for several years. Cleaning fees are entirely up to the host, but I can always find reasonable options.

I do my best to stay away from AirBnB due to what they have done to our community over the past decade. We have an apartment in Spain that is in an excellent location. Our neighbors, all locals, have had to move out due to owners in our block wanting to convert apartments to AirBnB and make more money. So a 78 year old widower on a fixed income was forced out and had to move further away from the city to something she could afford, the same for a Valencian plumber who lived next to us. Now we just have an endless stream of faceless foreigners coming in and out. Fortunately we have successfully petitioned our local government to limit the spread of AirBnB. More European cities and towns are implementing tight controls on this type of commerce, as they should.

Not sure if they changed it or not, but I tried to order 3. They cancelled 2 of them and the one they processed they used the gift card on my order.
