Why chrome over black finish? Just aesthetics or more than that.

I noticed the chrome doesn't have the serrations above the rubber grip sleeves or the teeth count index compared to the black finish
also the 7 1/4" plier [amazon.com]is also for the same price and from past comments seems most get more use out of the smaller ones

I have a 7 1/4" black finish pliers wrench and a 10" chrome finish pliers wrench. I find the black will rust easier if exposed to moisture. Probably not a big deal because the rust usually wipes off but if I had to choose only one chrome is the way I'd go.
