email came across this morning... I got the mower for $100 https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...1108BTLVNM for a small swatch of grass I have at a rental.

I've been tracking and its $20 cheaper than BF and $25 cheaper than Cyber Monday

Waiting for the ryobi 8 tool combo kit to go back on sale, I believe it was $140 the other day. Fingers crossed 🤞

They inflated the original price and reduce 50% to make it look like a deal but it's no deal.
Nope. You can easily compare DTO prices to Home Depot prices to see the difference.

you people are annoying. some things are higher, some are lower, every sale in different. watch the items YOU WANT to prepare your OWN price tracking. because one may become all time low, and another not on sale at all.

stop crying.

Most places do this. The lawsuits against JCP; Sears, etc. for this sort of thing have deterrer no one. Amazon does it a lot and did it for their October sales. The TVs were still a great deal, but they weren't the 80% off they were claiming. The bottom line is you need to be informed so you know what a truly good deal is.

Folks can complain all they want. Won't change the fact that Outlet is the best place to stock up on the Ryobi items you kind of want but don't want to pay Home Depot prices.
I have a ton of cool Ryobi stuff I never would have bought otherwise.

I buy everything off DTO. it's by far the best place to get tools, you just need to track your own sales.

my point is, every time great deals happen, someone in the thread says wahhhh wahhhh, inflated prices. because stuff they want isn't on sale at that time. some of the best sales are often un advertised. just got to be diligent and smart.

Have you ever dealt with their warranty or doa items?

Or has anyone?

I bought a bigger ticket item there and with no store to return of course you wonder how it is. They say after 40 days you take it up with the manufacturer as well (not saying that's a bad thing, just a thing).

bought a snowblower 2 years ago refurbished, didnt work out of the box. pretty sure it was destroyed in shipping, the box was beat up to hell. watched Fedex just drop it off the truck.

I took to Home Depot repair center, (machine only) and their repair center said cant be repaired, so I called the support line/TTI for the warranty, they paid me back every penny, and I kept the 2 40v batteries lol. since I didnt send them with the machine.

but TTI is excellent to work with, and DTO is as well, I got a pressure washer, that didnt have the little water connection on the side that it showed in the picture, so I called and they paid for shipping back and paid me back.

no issues too, since I also have a DTO store 30 minutes away. i just picked up a snow blower sale in store since I dont want another broken one from shipping. also my DTO store gives 10% off military on top of most sales often) but 10% always without sale mark on it, only exceptions is bundles, like buy 1 tool, get free stuff with it, cant seem to stack 10% on those.

if you are within return period or freshly bought off DTO, DTO will work w ya to get a new unit or reimburse. but outside of return period, its TTI, and TTI is great. have zero issues with anything ive needed fixed.

to be fair the TTI guys are legit like all the companies, the guy I spoke too each time, he handles all the ryobi, Milwaukee, rigid I think. so hes quick about it, less time taken to fix something the better for him for his next call. pretty cut and dry.
