Lots of "celebrity" brands on sale that are or used to be on Goldbelly including:
- Carlo's Bakery
- Momofuku
- Milk Bar
- Levain Bakery
- Magnolia Bakery
- Carbone Fine Food
- Emmy Squared
Shipping appears to be free on almost every item.
I went for the Carbone variety 4-pack of sauces. Sprouts and Whole Foods sells each jar around $9-$10. And I don't think they carry all varieties.
I bought the 4-pack of Carbone marinara in the past and it was packaged very well. Would make a nice gift for a foodie, I think. Probably at or around the taste and quality of a jar of Rao's.
After discounts, not bad for around $5/jar shipped. Even cheaper if you bought DoorDash credits at a discount.

Would the quality hold up over the shipping, though? I doubt it. I think the appeal is getting them fresh baked and experiencing them right then warm and ooey-gooey. Warming in the oven could help. They sell some frozen ones at Whole Foods, but they're 2 oz instead of the standard 6 oz and they're definitely not the same experience.
I think they're overpriced to begin with, but if I ever make it back to NYC I probably will wait in line and pay $5 for one for the destination and experience as a tourist.
Levain, like all these other brands have elevated themselves enough that their products all make good gifts for the holidays or as something to share during a holiday get together.
"Oh that's the Cake Boss's stuff" or "That's from the 'Ugly Delicious' guy's restaurant." I'd probably prefer locally baked or homemade, but their celebrity does make a good talking point to share.
It's all really no different than the marked up Harry & David holiday stuff.

Not terrible if you like their cookies.

looks like the same deal went up to 39.99 I'd say it's worth it with the included celebrity factor if you like the show
