That's an old list. I found the up-to-date version and this PSU is considered Tier B at this point (it's highlighted gold, so B+). I found a reddit post from one of the authors of this and the LTT list stating they changed websites last year and only update the new site.

Ha I found this and ordered it last week, and got it yesterday. Seems like a good deal to me, I can't find a SuperNOVA at this wattage for under $100 many other places.

I've had really good luck with the SuperNOVAs so I tend to stick with them. Plus all the modular cables are the same so I don't have to worry about frying my machine.

Good PSU. But if you're tight on space in your case (or server), then this might not be the best PSU. It comes with bulky braided cables that don't bend/flex well in cramped spaces. At least the SuperNova 850 GT one I got few months did.

I like EVGA. I got 1 psu fully modular 750W 80+ gold back in 2016. I am now building a new pc and my EVGA still alive and kicking. Zero issues ever. Im transferring that psu to the new build.

I have an EVGA GQ that makes noise. In that one it's caused by the ECO mode's fan control. It slowly spins the fan down over several minutes and this causes the fan motor to make funky noises during that time.

I also have a Cooler Master that spins its fan down on low load. This one periodically re-engages the fan for a moment and it makes a thunk sound like a fan hitting something. That's every few minutes. I'm probably going to avoid these fan stopper gimmicks from now on.

Gamestop is trash, I ordered this on 12/3 and was not able to see any order details until 12/5. I then got the " your order has shipped email" and it states expected delivery date 12/7. It is still saying " awaiting carrier pickup" even though they claim 1-3 day delivery.

was actually interested in getting this as my current PSU is about 10 years old now and i know i'm on borrowed time. hasn't been available on amazon for me since i saw the post on tuesday. went ahead and decided to get it on gamestop. was even going to go ahead and do the $15 sub for one year since it'd give a $10 off coupon and i'm sure i could maybe use or give away the monthly $5 coupons. went to buy the subscription and the site just says my payment method can't be used for some unknown reason. it's the cc i use for most things. just going to wait for another deal from another seller.

I had a very similar experience. Ordered and then it wouldn't even give me order updates or show that I ordered it at all. Waiting on the shipping email but I'm wondering if it's ever going to actually ship. Considering cancelling and waiting for something else.

I purchased this on 12/6 and got a shipped notice, FedEx says it's due for tomorrow. ShIpping was free. This seemed to be the best value around for a good name brand + full modular + gold rated + good wattage.

Alternative - EVGA site has some good instant rebates now on the ones with a 10 year warranty.
