$600 off, was $1599.99

AMD Ryzen™ 7 5800 (8-Core, 36MB Total Cache, Max Boost Clock of 4.6GHz) Processor

AMD® Radeon™ RX 6600 XT 8GB Graphics

1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD (Storage)

16GB HyperX™ FURY DDR4 XMP at 3466MHz Memory

Liquid cooled CPU and 550W Power Supply

I'm considering this over the Costco HP Victus deal for $699. This is $300 more, but you get a slightly better processor, twice the HD space, same GPU, slightly larger power supply, liquid cooling, and (subjectively) better looking case. This one has less RAM and only 1 year warranty over Costco's 2 year, but the Costco Visa will still give you 2 additional years for now if you have one.

And I'm also hoping for a better Wow factor on Christmas morning over the boring brown box the HP arrived in. Overall thoughts if the extra $$ is worth it?

You may have to be logged into your Best Buy account - above the discounted price it says: "my BEST BUY member pricing". See image attachment I just uploaded.

That case looks like a plastic oven. Even with low powered components I wonder what the airflow would be like. Not that the HP case is likely any better.

Also, keep in mind with these AW systems use a lot of proprietary pieces (like the mb, psu, etc.) so if something goes wrong or you want to upgrade down the road, you might have some issues. Personally, if I were going prebuilt, I'd lean strongly towards standard components than anything specifically engineered for a particular brand.

Just my two unrequested cents.

Thx. I don't disagree. I guess for me... knowing I'm guaranteed at least 3 years (w/2 year CC ext) then that should be good enough and can start thinking about an upgrade if anything proprietary fails.

I know this wasn't some insane deal, but I don't get the down votes when the deal linked below made it to the front page. Sure it has a better graphics card and an extra HD, but no liquid cooling and it was $250 more.

I built the following PC about 10 yrs ago

CPU Intel Core i7-4790K
GPU Nvidia GTX 970
SSD Crucial MX100 256GB and Samsung 860 Evo 500GB
HDD 2 * WDC WD60EZAZ-00SF3B0 6TB and Toshiba DT01ACA200 2TB
RAM G.SKILL RipjawsX DDR3 1600 C9 4x8GB
MBD Asrock Z97X Killer

How would you rate the current deal vs my build if I was trying to get back into gaming?
