Thanks for sharing - while browsing came across this and bought it - double the LED count and same price after clipping coupon. - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B1PK4...yp_imgToDp

It's double the LED count because it's twice the length. So the LED density is still the same. What's nice about yours is that they are expandable - you can connect up to 3 strings.

The one you linked doesn't turn into solid colors, you get warm white or multi

Depends on the size you need to cover, but also how many lights you want. Sometimes less is more, especially with white. If you have this outside at night, you want the lights to compliment the darkness instead of overwhelming it.

I have the multicolored ones and they are still going strong after a year of daily use. We hooked them to curtain rods behind semitransparent sheer curtains, which help even out the glow and they look really nice. The only weak spot are the hooks. Several of them snapped over time and we still haven't figured out what to replace them with.

How about https://www.amazon.com/Blulu-Chri...09C2463T9/ or https://www.amazon.com/Hanging-Pl...09PL4HSGC/ ? I've used S hooks similar to the first link for my garland for years. Great at splitting fingernails and occasionally blows off when we have 50 MPH winds the day after I hang my Christmas decorations, but for the most part they perform admirably. I probably got mine at Big Lots or similar.

Ah, great idea! I just need to make sure it's large enough to clip to the rod. Repped!

fakespot rating is a D

the product OP posted here is rated a B

I was reading that people were having issues with tangled lights, setting it up, the remote. Not sure what you expect for $15 though. I would be in for one but I already have too many lights, my electricity bill is insane.

LED lights don't use much electricity.

Yeah, I was thinking the same, worried about winds. I guess I could stake the bottom of the lights... last year we used twisties to twist the lights to the command hooks so they wouldn't fly off in high winds. worked well for the season.

Thanks

It's USB, so the lights themselves are probably 5V max. The listing says that an adapter is included and, according to the photo, it's a 110-240V one. If not, you can use any old USB-A phone charger.
