MSNBC is the only channel I wish I could buy a tv subscription to.
You might want to take a look at https://www.livenewsmag.com/msnbc-live-tv/, I'm considering subscribing to that.

Cancelled cable 2 weeks.. signed up for YTV through a TMobile $55/mo promo and it had a 5 day trial at that time... 4 days later I bought a 4k tv on BF so added the 4k which had a 14 day trial with a $10 off promo for 12 months..... On day 6 they charged my on file amex... Amex fraud denied the charge. (No idea why same card had no.problem renewing Google one 2 months prior) I was alerted immediately and released the alert. Next day I'm watching TV and it stops working and says I need to contact them. Contact them and tell them fraud alert was released 30 seconds after I got it and to go ahead and charge the card again..CS says they can't manually change anything and that I need to wait 24 hours for it to charge.... Meanwhile I have no tv... 24 hours later.. no charge.. chat CS and told to change to a different card which I did... But yup I'd have to wait 24 hours for it to be charged again... Fast forward 24 hours later and no charge....still no TV... Get agent on phone who says she can get it working but she needs a copy of my tmobile bill and the promotion I used so I could get the $55 rate... But that sorry.. I'd lose the $10 off 4k promo because "it's not our fault your credit card didn't work".... Told them to shove it because I haven't even gotten out of the trial yet and you're already cancelling both of my promos.... and contacted tmobile.. got a new code and used a different Gmail account and got everything back in place with 2 14 day trials...

Moral of the story ... Make sure you have a backup payment on your account bc if it ever fails payment they will kill your feed in a heartbeat and steal any promo you have on your account and not give it back...and their CS is absolutely unforgiving and could care less if you stay or go... Ive never heard of a company that doesn't have the ability to take payment on demand or offer the capability for a customer to make a one time payment....but here it is....

I have YouTube TV and really enjoy it. I watch sports but nothing live. I am magnificent at avoiding results. The YouTube TV format of taping everything allows me to watch at my leisure. For example, right now I am watching Argentina vs. Poland in the World Cup. I realize this match was nearly a week ago but I have no idea who won or which teams advanced from the group. I'll finish group stage in a couple of days.

Right now 0-0 after 18 minutes

I wish YouTube TV had more $20 off promotions for current customers. They had it recently on one credit card after another but they were all bunched within the same 45 day window.
Yep this is what I do. Games of my personal teams are 'recorded' automatically and can be watched later ... it's pretty easy to skip commercials and really get into the game. Also they allow you to share the account with (iirc) up to 4-5 household members which makes it a pretty reasonable cost if you have a few friends you can share the bill with.

Fyi, account sharing will only work if you share the same local market (LA or NYC, etc). Every 90 days I think you have to renter the home area, or you get blocked.

You dont get blocked, instead it updates your local TV stations. I've setup family sharing with my account and you get three simultaneous streams from different locations.

Location is extremely easy to spoof.

Works for new account only. They track your payment info so you cannot reuse it from previous signups. Also it says that promo expires 12/31. Free trial is only 2 days - I signed up on 12/6 for 14 days free trial.
