Not the best deal considering the 5600 was around the same price recently (between $100-120), and the 5600 is a lot better

Picked the 5600G up for $95 a month ago. The 3600 was $100 with motherboard. Both at Micro Center with new account coupon.

I'd seriously consider going with the 5600 at these prices. It's been down to 118 fairly often and it's 138 at BH right now. If you can wait until the price hits 118, again, go with that. This for $100 is not good unless you really can't spend the extra $20 or you just have to order something today at $100.

Bought a 5600 for $100 and sold my 3600 on Craigslist for $80 last week. Really didn't think it would go for that much.

To be clear though, the 5600G has half the L3 cache compared to the regular 5600, and also doesn't support PCIe 4.0 (which the 5600 does)

That's why the 5600 for $115 is the superior deal unless you just want 5600g for igpu for basic/media/streaming PC.

I just had to point how ridiculously bad this 3600 "deal" is. And don't get me wrong, I love the 3600, I have two, but it's far outdated and outclassed by the new budget chips.

When was the 5600g at $95? At newegg? I think the lowest price I have seen the 5600g was $110..
