Yes, it's confusing. 'mil' is the same as 'thou'. Each referring to thousandths if an inch, despite the mili prefix being metric.
0.1 mm = 0.004 inch = 4 mil
Medium and Large size cheaper on Amazon for virtually the same product that has slight thickness variation between fingers and palms. 4.75mil on fingers. 3.15mil on palms.
Avoid these no-brand gloves at all cost and go with Ammex, Kimberly Clark, MechanixGear, Halyard, or Gloveworks brands (5mm thickness) -
the cheap brands are very thin and prone to ripping and are inconsistent in sizing and thickness.
The Kirkland gloves do not fit well and ever since the pandemic the quality has gone downhill quickly. Not even close to 3.5mm

In the case of these gloves, is there any best if used by date / year? Do they degrade even if stored well? These look like lifetime supply sorta quantity. Thanks and reps.

Before the 19 we used to buy 1000 nitrile for around $65. Now anything at that price or below is subpar as in they will RIP easy, extremely poor quality. Normally I would jump all over this, but I own a cleaning company and I wouldn't want to waste money and time if these are not great.

I work for a glove manufacturer for a living. If they are selling these at this low of a price, there are a few things to look out for. QUALITY and HOW OLD. If they are old, they will be dry and brittle, have no elasticity and break quite easily. IMO, they are probably total junk.

Yes, I have had them break down and start to stick together. I guess that's why condoms have expiration.

When the pandemic first started ramping up, the food handling ones were the only ones I could find, and they were at a Costco business center. I cannot find the thickness of either type on the Costco website. Maybe I'm blind.
I have both costco and these gloves. The costco gloves are easier to get out of the package and do not rip as easily. They are also textured nicely.
However they are double the price.
The nitrile exam gloves are sold at our Houston Costco stores for $24.99/box of 400. They are sometimes on sale for $21.99 but the limit is 2 per membership. On costco.com, these are $34 for the same 400.

And in case someone was wondering, Costco's nitrile exam gloves are 400 for $34 while the nitrile food handling gloves are 500 for $30
