About this item:- Room mapping: A LiDAR sensor on top of the vacuum scans your rooms in seconds and builds a floor plan on your phone that you can see, edit, and save
- Quick & efficient cleaning: Using the map built by the LIDAR sensor, Wyze Robot Vacuum divides rooms into sections and moves around in straight lines for the most efficient path possible
- Multi-surface vacuuming: Wyze Robot Vacuum cleans all surfaces, hard flooring and soft carpet. It can cross height gaps up to 0.8 in (20 mm) to clean across any bumps in the road
- Virtual Walls & Area Selection: Create virtual walls and restricted areas. Have cords under your desk? Dog bowls in the corner? No problem. Tell your Wyze Robot Vacuum where it can't go
- Self-charging: Wyze Robot Vacuum drives itself back to the charging station after it?s finished its path. Or if the battery gets low during cleaning, it returns for a charge before picking back up right where it left off

Also, people in the past have complained about the wheels leaving black streaks on the floor by the charger. I haven't experienced this so maybe they already fixed the issue.

I have laminate floors at its base station and it hasn't left marks. It also goes to carpet, hard wood, and 'wavy' terracotta tile in my house without any issues, though hopefully there will be a day where I can get my main floor redone all with the same flooring.
I have the spot cleaning and multi floor mapping. The mapping is fast the first time, like 5-10 minutes. If I move the base station from where I originally mapped it from, it orients itself when it starts and realizes where the base station true location is.
Only software feature I wish it added was removing detected obstructions. I haven't paid close attention but I feel like it might use the map to try to avoid the dining room chairs, but naturally they move every time. It would be nice if I could remove all the small 'islands' of obstructions that frequently move so it'd focus more on the 'bumping' algorithm in those areas. I mean, it ends up bumping, but I suspect it also is trying to avoid a leg chair that might not be there.
Really debating if I need a second or third one though, would be nice for separate areas but main floor sees 99% of traffic so it really is hard to justify more than one for me. Would be nice if they sold separate base stations just to make it easier to move between floors.
checked myself: it says need 50 more dollars to work, so only with other groceries I guess.
People who have complained about it are talking 3rd person without 1st hand experience.
1 of my 3 broke and the company replaced it free of charge.
I think they are coming up with a water tank since 1 of the ones I have keeps talking about it.
data points where the prices still differ in store vs. online.

Bought this during last year's BF for $200 and still going strong. Run this guy daily. No streaks and it goes over my low ply carpet and kitchen standing mat just fine.
Once or twice a month it somehow detects it at a wrong location in my house and keep banging to the wall until it runs out of battery. I watched my security camera and SMH.
Cleaning function is good tbh.
Battery is small so if you have a big house, it might not be able to clean the whole house in one charge.
I believe they have a couple of different hardware version so if you are unlucky get an odd one, there won't be no firmware update for it.
