Bought this last time the deal was posted. This thing can easily be knocked off the base and ends up not charging. As already mentioned, battery is small so if it didn't get charged fully, it'll run for like 10-15 minutes, go back to the charger, then SOMETIMES it would finish cleaning, but most of the time it would just not clean anymore until the next scheduled time. Cleans decent but I really miss my old xiaomi roborock.

Also, people in the past have complained about the wheels leaving black streaks on the floor by the charger. I haven't experienced this so maybe they already fixed the issue.
Mine left black Marcus on my faux wood tile floors. Would not find base sometimes Returned.

I own this one- that is a HELL of a deal! It's very powerful and low profile so it goes under most furniture pretty easily. Only downside is the dust bin is tiny and has to be emptied after every use.

I am thinking of returning it already, its buggy. Only clean edges of the room rather then cleaning whole room. Stranded few times in middle of cleaning and it was showing it is in stand by. Battery life is not impressive. Any fixes or I am missing anything in the settings?

weird. seems like a lot of people complaining about this model. i absolutely love mine. had it for a year now. battery life is sufficient for us. lidar makes it much more efficient so it runs for less time. suction is great. needs to be emptied every other day with our 2 long haired 90lb dogs.

only minor gripes i have is that you cant schedule it to clean numerous rooms if you want varying suction levels. so i cant have it clean the whole house and have it do strong suction in some rooms and low in others. i have to have it do all the strong suction rooms, and then schedule it to do the low suction rooms afterward... but you have to leave a significant gap as it might take too long in the first schedule, and if it overlaps it wont run the second one.

also... its super annoying that they arent pushing the new firmware to most units. they advertize multi floor and spot cleaning, but most units dont have them. blatant false advertisement and there are pages and pages of threads on it on the wyze forums.

My local Walmart does not have this in stock and is offering Shark EZ Robot vacuum as a substitution for $157. Thoughts?

It doesn't have LiDAR so it's not really comparable.

Have this (Had it). My S5 Roborock was acting up (Error 13 - needed to replace fuse), so I purchased this while waiting on the parts 'in case' I flubbed the repair.

The short: I returned The Wyze after two weeks and 8 cleanings.

The Long: Why? Marginal battery life. Could not complete my whole area (20% carpet - 80% laminate/tile/hard wood. 1350 square feet) Mapping was adequate. Not the same sophistication as the Roborock (Did not divide rooms well, etc) by any stretch. but its not a bad unit overall. It just has shortcomings (to be expected at this price). It did OK cleaning. No issues there but I was disappointed.

(Had the Wyze battery been the only issue I had, I may have attempted to get it replaced with a higher capacity one - likely from Ali - if I could while still in my return window. In the end my S5 fuse repair was successful so the Wyze got returned. And it would have been returned if the S5 was not fixed.)

Bought one a week ago and it works fine on my vinyl tile kitchen floor. The tiles are a light grey, almost white and I've had no issues.

Our apartment has both. This vacuum has worked very well on both surfaces. We keep it on the high suction setting, so I can't comment on if the lower suction settings work just well.

I would caution that the wheels do leave a bit of a black mark where it sits charging; however, it does not mark while driving around. If that would be a concern, maybe consider placing some clear tape down where the wheels rest during charging. I'm sure other more creative solutions exist, but that's the first that came to my mind.

Seems like the tradeoff is LiDAR for self-cleaning. I'm somewhat jealous. My store offered a eufy Clean by Anker RoboVac G32 Pro ($98), which seems like a downgrade. I didn't give it much thought, placed a new order at the next closest Walmart and they had the Wyze in stock.
