Highly recommend against ever buying a modem/router combo of any brand.
Also, don't waste money on a Docsis 3.0 device(unless it's like used from a buddy for 10 bucks), and ESPECIALLY don't buy anything with Puma 6 chipset, like the T25 or the SB 6190.
It's criminal they're even still selling those pieces of shit.

Can I ask for full refund later after I buy T25?

Can you recommend a decent modem and a mesh system that would be good then please? I'm not really that savvy when it comes to these things, but I currently have a older motorolla modem/router now which I want to replace soon. Ty

For the modem, consider the S33. DOCSIS 3.1 and will support up to 2.5Gbps speeds so should last a long time. https://slickdeals.net/f/16190926-arris-surfboard-s33-docsis-3-1-multi-gigabit-cable-modem-146-88

I'm not as familiar with mesh Wi-Fi systems as I prefer running non-mesh APs at various points in the house (via Ethernet cable). What I will say is you want a Wifi6/802.11ax system, and could consider one of the latest Wifi6e systems which have the new 6Ghz band (which isn't broadly supported by clients yet so may be of limited use currently except maybe as backhaul between mesh APs). I've found 802.11ax performance on 5Ghz band to be significantly better and more reliable than older AC access points.

Darn it, just placed order for the $75. Should I cancel it. What's so bad about the modem. The other may last a longer time but also cost more than twice as much.

Yes return it, there is a defect in the Intel chipset, and currently a pending lawsuit with that chipset

Any suggestions for someone with 2 Comcast VOIP lines? (Besides canceling the lines--I have thought about it.

First time buying my own modem router combo or anything related to wifi. I didn't want to rent one. So I found this on sale at Walmart for $174, cheapest one out there for what I could find back at the begging of November. I thought it would be better. Cuts out maybe once every week or two weeks. Not the strongest reception in an apartment either. I have xfinity 400 mbps package. I was in a rush to get one , but now after reading everything I should have gone with buying a separate modem and router.

I believe that because of the chipset, the modem lags and your internet will slow down. Read this: https://networkshardware.com/inte...m-chipset/

I've been using a combo for years, what's the reason not to? Recommendation on a good modem?

Ebay has the G34 and G36 cheaper from Fakespot approved sellers. Has an Amazon 4 star review. With Amazon it's generally 4.5 Stars = Good 4 Stars = Bad on anything with a lot of reviews
