Basic info to know before buying:

- Eyedictive is NOT an authorized reseller for any of the brands they carry so the manufacturer is not obligated to honor any warranty claims.
- The products they sell are discontinued styles and obsolete inventory
- The only contact info available for them is a PO box.
- Customer must pay return shipping for any returns
- Many SD users have said that the product they received was fake
- If you still decide to buy, compare prices with other online merchants before buying because their prices aren't always very good and what they claim is the "regular price" is a complete joke.
- Eyedictive deals are always posted by SD Staff so approach with caution.

Personally, I stay away from these "deals". Too many red flags.

I bought four pairs of what I thought were high end glasses from this website, they all arrived crooked pieces of junk. Definitely fake do not buy.

Look up the Timberland Eyedictive thread from a month or so ago. A fellow Slickdealer contacted Timberland to ask about legitimacy of EyeDictive's inventory and they were told they are definitely fake and are pursuing legal action against EyeDictive. That answered the question for me.
Says they been in business for since 2007 Why is it taking imberland so long to take action on their cheap sunglasses? No one ever says I'm going shopping and getting me a high quality pair imberland shades do they.

I probably have more SD seniority than most. I'm not a shill and have ordered at least 5 times from eyedictive. They have always been better than expected with original packaging and cases. I'm not claiming to know 100% certain they are real or not, but I've never been disappointed.
Same here. Bought a pair of Guess at Feb 2017, still have it in excellent condition, can't complain.

The one pair of of sunglasses I've purchased from ED has served me well. And I know they're polarized (as advertised) because I can rotate LCD screens and no longer see the displayed images.

I don't know if they're fake (Dragon brand) or if there is a warranty. I don't know that I care.

But that's me and a small sample of 1…

(Obviously I joined SD back in 2007 and have posted numerous times about hundreds of deals since with the sole reason to shill for a website I care nothing about. My evil plan is finally coming to its culmination…)

Edit: I lied. I forgot about the Gunnar's I bought from ED for my kid. They also lived up to expectations.

You have been around since 2004 but don't post much. I'm no senior but these are more than likely fakes. Some better than others. Imo these prices are way too high for fakes.

Have bought many pairs from them throughout the years. No complaints. No fakes. Fast shipping. No issues.

Isn't it better to buy from burlington, Ross or tj
Are their prices comparable for name brands. What kind of discounts do they normally have .

Just FYI, the other possibility is that they're SMUs (special make ups) by the manufacturer specifically *for* EyeDictive. Plenty of companies do this. I used to work for a sporting goods company, and we'd do this all the time for sporting goods stores.

So might not technically be "fake", but they're not actually glasses you could find elsewhere, and possibly far cheaper/crappier than the officially branded ones.

The $30 glasses I got from them were horribly cheap, and far worse than the $20 (on sale) Shady Rays or the $14 all-day-long Amazon ones. Of course, if all you care about is a (possibly fake) logo, then by all means go for it.

People need to understand the difference between an authorized seller (direct from manufacturer or authorized mall/online stores) and grey-market seller.

Grey-market: Low prices (due to outdated models of name brands), no warranty, extremely limited customer service, customer pays for return, return needs to include everything shipped with no or minor issue.
Authorized seller: Full price or minimal discount, warranty, support, customer service, potentially free return, return can be no questions asked.

Another major point is on price. People are perceiving/thinking "high-end" glasses, so high prices - this is not true unless you buy from an authorized seller but 3rd party/grey-market prices will be much lower. Eyedictive pricing is nothing special (and even higher than other online stores, e.g. Jomashop). There are many stores including Amazon that sell these at similar prices.

Case in point for Lacoste. Lacoste signed Novak Djokovic as their main brand ambassador, given their tennis history, spending a massive sum. They redesigned lot of these sunglasses (prices $175-$250)/other products. These earlier models were dumped with grey-market, hence the $30-$35 prices. Lacoste and Novak are looking to break due to the AusOpen saga (they are reducing Novak branded now) - but that is another story.

So someone sent the glasses to Timberland who examined them and confirmed fake? Some companies will say things are not legit if they are sold through grey market at lower prices than what they authorize.

Ordered several times through EyeDictive. Good prices for decent glasses. 95% of glasses are made by Luxottica and are highly overpriced at retail ($200+). Never paid over $50 for good polarized sunglasses (including Ray-Bans).

Check out their reviews online, they are pretty favorable.

Because every time anyone says anything negative about Eyedictive, the shills always come out and say how wonderful they are. Thank you for proving that point for me.
Yes, only negative things can be said about Eyedictive.

Anything positive means you're automatically a shill. Questioning the negativity also means that you're a shill.
