Steel series did that with there headsets to coincide with Ps5 and Xbox series too. Then released a refresh like a year later with USB type c. Pretty shitty of them

The new 8bitdo 2.4ghz is the way to go....a little more at $50, but that charging dock is just too nice.

Had one of these completely stop responding after 1 month of regular use. Would never recommend it. dpad is trash as well
