Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?
I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.
If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

Just signed up for the $25 plan by calling T-Mobile.

Also, I'll get a $100 card if I stay with the service for at least two months and Paramount + for a year.

You need to have a voice plan to get a $25 internet plan. Cheapest voice plan is voice and text only for $20 plan.

Like 6 months ago I was going to give this T-Mobile home internet a try. According to the representative that contacted me it was available in my area, but since I wasn't on Magenta Max (Sprint Kickstart 2.0) and I wasn't willing to change my plan, I didn't sign up. I get 5GUC in my house most of the time and regularly average 80GB of data each month, but for whatever reason, even if I could get this deal, it says not available at my address.

I was able to order after midnight cst at $20, with autopay but I read a lot about T mobile billing issues so hopefully it works out. Figure I can try this for at least 5 moths at no cost, after the $100 promotion, so that should give me more than enough time to figure out if I can cancel fios.

Hopefully this is something that can work well in my area. We are, I guess, concerned high users since we have 2 working from home, kids online gaming, cameras and streaming, so we will see.

Also, not sure if it makes a difference, I did it all through the T-Mobile app. Discount and promo were added automatically.

Existing magenta max customer as of 10 days or so ago.

No deal on my account. If this is just for magneta Max customers that is a complete joke. Tired of these companies with so many different tiers. Makes it too confusing for customers.
FYI - I am not a magenta max customer and they said my line was eligible.

Important fact to include in posts - if you are already a T-Mobile customer.

If not then you have to add a voice line to get deal.
eman3210 mentioned cheapest would be for talk/text only for $20/month.

Just got rejected for One plan on chat - they said Magenta/Magenta Max only. Going to have to call in like a savage in 1999.

If anyone wants more information bout Home Internet, here's a good read.

T-Mobile.com/OpenInternet

Also to note, Home Internet, gets lowest priority on their towers especially when it's congestive at night.
I've had their internet 2 months ago for a few weeks, during the day and up until about 7pm you see speeds anywhere between 550-750
Closer to 9, they drop to about 300's which is still not bad, but some days I've seen it as low as 50-70 in the evening. At that point if you have a lot of devices at home that require internet connection, it becomes unusable.
A good restart of the Tmobile tower helps a bit but it got annoying to do it every other night.
