Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?
I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.
If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

I could get behind this as a backup option to my current FiOS setup, or maybe find a way to multiplex the connections.

I assume the $25 monthly credit stops and you'll have to pay $50 a month.

So if it says this we should be good? It showed 41 but when I clicked into the tower I don't see 41 listed as a band. It does say 5G ENDC Available Yes

Found another one that had 41 as a band when I clicked into it. However none of the "zone highlights" hit my house despite both towers being a mile away.
Mine is exactly the same.

No, regular price without autopay is $55.

For magenta max users they got a $20 discount and autopay is $5 discount.

So it was $30.

Just got it for the $25/mo with online chat. No additional fees except they said there was a $35 activation fee. We'll see if that actually gets charged. I have a 4-line essentials cell plan with them. 15 day trial and they said activation would be refunded if I return it during that time.

Various speedtests on our 5gUC phones shows between 550-750mbs around my house. I'll be happy if I get over 300mbs with this device. (not a gamer)

Currently with Comcast paying $95 for 600mbs internet and basic TV service. That contract ends really no early cancellation fee if I stay with the T-Mobile device.

If anyone knows a good cheap mesh system I could connect to this I'd appreciate any info. Tri-level house has some tough-to-reach spots.

It's mobile enough . We stayed at Harrahs resort near us and they wanted to charge for WiFi so we brought our T-Mobile modem and plugged it in and it worked for streaming for the kids that night

Yeah, nothing on the promotion page or in the terms says this.

I think this is just a way for CS to get people to switch to max. I don't see anything to say that is actually required though.
