Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?
I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.
If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

Called 611. Got both promotions: $25 Home Internet for life and $100 virtual GC. I have one line, Magenta 55+.

More info: I cancelled my Wi-Fi Hotspot. That Hotspot was $20/mo for 5GB. Unlimited Wi-Fi Hotspot is $50.

Did a chat and inputted credit card in form on chat. No confirmation yet even the chat on my app disappeared. Crossing my finger. Also will do the $100 although some say you need to tell the rep.

Verizon is also advertising $25/m home internet. Neither are available here.

FYI always change your default DNS in your router, as telcos tend to skim that data and resell it.

Save your screenshots but it will probably be an uphill battle. Site was glitching and stacking non-stackable discounts.
Rep I"m chatting with does not see the $100 prepaid card. Anyone have a screenshot of link to this?

I'm an existing home internet customer and called 611. They told me I could only start a new Internet line at a new location. Couldn't do a second at my home

Not sure if this was mentioned yet but I tried it in August and while speed was just ok for me (but good enough) the 100gb DATA CAP was used up really quickly since all we do is stream . Then the speed slows down to the point of unusable. 👎🏻👎🏻
I think you signed up for Home Internet Lite if you had a data cap. This deal is for Home Internet Unlimited.

I've gotten 400+mbps. I'd post a screen shot if I could. I would also recommend running it through a quality router set up as an AP. The onboard router kinda sucks. Probably the cause of many people saying it drops service.

I contacted t-mobile via text and was told I was eligible for the $25 for life promo. The order reflected the full price of $55 a month, but they confirmed the promo would appear on my bill. They also confirmed that I was eligible for the $100 Mastercard and that they would waive the $35 activation fee upon activation. Fingers crossed it all pans out.
Sounds exactly like T-Mobile to me. They can't just be straight forward with you got this "line of service" for $25/m instead of $50, always some code that gets applied and you sit around waiting & hoping you get what you agreed too.

I checked into this yesterday, as a $25/m backup to my cable ISP due to outages and working from home. Turns out not available in my area yet, even though they have repeatedly marketed it toward me, they claim I'm in a 5G IC area. But hey at least they were honest for once.

From talking to people who have this already, sadly don't expect a bigger/better antenna than is in your phone, everyone I have spoken to with the knowledge and data say they get nearly identical speeds via the "Home Internet" and their phones.
