WTF:

Response from Chat rep:

the $25 deal for home internet is if you add an extra voice line to current account to then receive the $25 deal on home internet.

Not available in my area, despite having T-Mobile 5G UC here. Does trying to order through chat bypass the website check?

Each cellphone tower can only handle so many devices. And likely in your area, there are too many Tmobile cellphone user and home internet user already and probably use up their maximum cellphone tower capability. Which is likely reason it is not available in your area.

Even if you somehow get around the requirement and signup, the speed in your area won't be as good when your area is "full". And if there are enough people use the "workaround" (like someone post a way to get around this), expect Tmobile home internet get very slow if Tmobile can no longer control how many people signup in certain area so many area get overcrowded.

So anyone post any kind of workaround will likely hurt their own home internet performance if everyone start taking advantage of that in their area.

Anyone seeing a $30/mo price still? At checkout, I see 2022 HINT P18 for a $20 discount and a $5 autopay discount, but it's still stating that my total monthly would be $30.00.

I do have Magenta MAX so I'm afraid to submit the order because of possibly just getting that discount instead.

I tried Tmobile Home Internet at $50/month since I am on a legacy plan. The speed was decent, I got 200-300M download, 10-30M upload. Ping varies a lot. I used my own router so it's pretty stable, their wifi is not. I switched to xfinity blackfriday deal though.

Why was t-mobile allowed to make an existing good network disappear? We're they not supposed to make it better?

I sometimes get full 5G UC bars that heat up my phone and drain my battery while getting no service.

Not true, however Hulu live gets mad and we have to contact customer service every few months as it will think we're in a different state. Have never had a gaming issue with Steam, Epic, EA, Origin, etc.

Never had issue with multiple streaming devices, home router and multiple game systems

Has anyone been able to do this on a Small Business Account? Called 611 but they're saying that it's for Personal Home Internet only.

If you did what is the promo code for it?

People saying service is slow or great for them is meaningless because just like with cell service, it highly varies. They give you 15 days to try it out so if you are interested, the best way is to just take the test drive.

This only makes sense if you currently get full bars with 5G UC reception. Even then it will likely be as fast as moderate cable (especially up speeds) but nowhere near fiber.

I am a T-Mo loyalist and really wanted this to work for me, but old school Spectrum (200 down/20 up) is way faster than what T-Mo was giving me via 5G (I get 3 bars and 5G but not UC at home).

Truly YMMV. If you live line of sight to one for their 5G towers or relays, it could be a really good deal for you.
