Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?
I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.
If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

I checked with another person on Twitter. I have existing family plan with phone lines and adding new internet connection will be considered as upgrade and will charge $35. That is what they said. Twitter is normally better service. Couple of weeks back I called Tmobile and added Watch to one of my free line and they completely messed up my plan. Then Tforce fixed all the mess. I have simple choice and scared to change anything as I spent so much time to fix. On Twitter they are repeatedly saying $35 fee. How can it be different for different people
I have simple choice too and T-Force didn't charge me the $35 fee.

That fee they are talking about is one that T-mobile started charging about a year or so ago for anything requiring a customer service assistance when doing changes to your account. It is equivalent to the activation fee that was $20 before. So what they said that it is because you are upgrading a line is not true and wrong info.

However, technically the are supposed to charge the $35 and getting it waived is up to the Rep that is helping you. I didn't get charge for it and honestly I would have decline if they asked me to pay that fee.

Again, is up to you. Your last resort is to try In-store and see if they are willing to waive it or trying again through T-Force.

Where do you see the $25 promo? Yesterday morning I added TMHI. Account activity now shows:
New line XXX-XXX-XXXX was added to your account on 12/09/2022 at 10:17 PM . This line is on the T-Mobile Home Internet plan for $55.0 per month plus taxes and fees. This plan includes Unlimited Included Data, Unlimited Messages, Unlimited Included Data, Unlimited Messages.
Check the wiki page on the first page of this thread, it shows where you can see it and has screenshots.

Do you see the promotion in Account Activity? Can you post what it shows?
Not in the Account Activity. On the web, access account, you see Plans, Equipment, Services with monthly rate. Click on that and go all the way down to the new line added. You will see applied discounts and promotions there. I only see $25 2022 HINT P22, but not the $5 auto pay discount, as I am maxed at $40/ 8 lines.

That's not true...my uncle gets over 600 at home, so I am hoping the same...he said the speeds on his phone and home internet are very similar. Make sure you place the router on your highest floor in the house, and ideally closer to a window for best speeds.
Thanks!

It looks like it depends on the brand of the gateway they send you. Do you know which brand of Gateway your uncle has? Is Sagemcom, Arc or Nokia?

Quote from guest00x :
Sagemcom has best lte band antenna and wifi but ethernet cap at 300-325mbps (buggy firmware?)
Arc is good all round. If unit pull high speed from tower, ethernet can support up to 1gbps
Nokia is similar to Arc.

TMO One 55+ here ($60 for 2 lines with auto pay)

Just went to the store and it took probably 5 minutes to confirm qualification, added the home internet plan and get the modem.

About an hour later got the "Congratulations" txt message.

Went home log onto tmo account on computer, it CLEARLY shown the $5 auto pay discount as well as $25 2022 HINT P22 under the account tab.

The rep in store said I am qualify for $100 card as well. And I get the sign up the service at a different address compare to my billing without a problem.

Good luck yall.

Can you describe the process they did in-store to convert you from Sprint billing to T-mobile billing?

Do you get to keep your old Sprint plans, or did you have to convert to new T-mobile plans? I have some phones that are in monthly payment and not paid off yet.

I'd like to keep my existing Sprint plans, because I get Hulu for free. I don't care who bills me, but I don't want to be forced into T-mobile plans so the distinction between billing/plans is important to me.
Yea, there is NO process...I just returned from a Sprint Corporate Store where even they were too dumb to figure this out.

Basically, us legacy Sprint Customers are screwed out of this deal because T-Mobile does not consider us CURRENT line holders of a T-Mobile line, even though we probably have T-Mobile SIM's in our phones!

You are right, if they switch you over, you have to pay off any remaining balances on your phone (which I would do) BUT you would lose those monthly discounts you get as they stretched the discounts for whatever new phones you have put on your account.

T-Mobile, at the corporate level is a bunch of dim-wits - 2 years after a merger and they still have not figured out how to fully integrate us Sprint customers. Reminds me of when the Continental and United airlines merged and they couldn't even get the brand of coffee that both would use right!

For now, T-Mobile is Telling us Legacy Sprint Customers!
NO SOUP FOR YOU!!! Mad

I'm just getting paranoid... I only see line as $55. It does not show: $25 2022 HINT P22

Hopefully it just takes time to update or maybe when I receive device or activate.

Hopefully you are NOT a Legacy Sprint Customer.

Legacy Sprint Customers, still being billed through the Sprint system (whether you know or not) are not eligible for this offer or the discount.

So now I have two T-Mobile Home Internet. 1st $50 per month, 2nd $25 per month. It seems like I can cancel the $50 plan without ruining the $25 plan. I don't see canceling existing internet plan will void the $25 promo pricing. Thought?

When do you plan to cancel the first tmhi?
Also, tmobile requires the same line count within last 90 days (fine prints). If you have tmhi cancel within that time you must reinstate it. What make you think you can cancel that the fact. Tmo rep may mis informed you.

Did this in store today, $0 OTD with the 5G Gateway, activated and everything at the store. After I got home, I received congratulation text msg from Tmobile about the promotional service discount. I checked in my Tmobile account online and do see it applied under the Gateway device: $25 2022 HINT P22
