Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?

I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.

If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

It didn't work for me. When I used my home internet number it still is charging 9.99. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
You have to go to T-Mobile to redeem another promo code for one year of Paramount+ with your Home Internet number.

I'm impressed so far. I'm using Spectrum currently. I pay $80 for 300mbs. But I must place the router at the far corner of the house due to the cable over there so in reality the speed is more like 150 mbs - 200mbs. For Tmo 5G, I can place the router anywhere. The speed is about 180-200mbs when using Ethernet wire. Wifi is about 100mbs - 180 mbs. This is good enough for me. For $25, it's very good deal.

No, YOU are mistaken in your understanding of what I wrote.
If YOU are a legacy Sprint Customer and you were able to fully get this deal...then explain away.

Otherwise, you have NO idea...
Were you in a corporate or franchise store? And lots of legacy Sprint customers have gotten the deal.

Same as some other with 400ish/70ish over wifi but sub 60 down via Ethernet. Hope a firmware update fixes it. I think my firmware was ahead of some others who posted. Have the Sage on 1.1.52. Still canceling my Verizon tomorrow as well as my xfinity install on Thursday.

You should've had a good rep migrate you over long ago. Sadly, many of them don't exist on the consumer side. But if you had a business rep... Had a good one migrate our business account over. Bill was actually cheaper. Idiot boss kicked everyone off so I ended up creating a military account for myself a and a few coworkers. Dope of a boss even closed the business account for some reason and started from scratch elsewhere. Made zero sense.

But so many reps don't clearly understand all. The migration and such post merger, and many problems can be created. A good rep knows their shit and are very helpful.

Haven't tested over ethernet. I'm over 200mbps down and 20 up during peak times and over 400 down and 40 up non peak. I can go plug in and see, but I don't expect much change.
Well can't plug in right now. Don't have my adapter for the MacBook here. 🙄
For what it's worth I get about 40-50% faster downloads straight off the tower with my phone, and similar or sometimes oddly lower upload speeds.

Well, I am terrified this AAL will backfire on me. I had several free AAL promos previously on our Magenta Business plan, along with an insider discount. The rep today "changed my plan" to another Magenta plan that allowed for more than 8 lines (thought Magenta had a higher limit?) And now all but my insider discount is gone from my account description...

I initially signed up in franchise store. I then tried to set up an online account to set up the autopay and was unable so I reached out to an off-shore based CSR who was of no help
After a couple of CSR calls, I finally found one who seemed to understand the situation - she wrote up a long list of things that needed to be done and instructed me to go to a Corporate store and have my accounts merged. She also instructed me to bring the Cell Router just in case.

The corporate store rep, even after reading what the US based CSR wrote, was unable to merge the accounts and instructed me to close my Sprint/T-Mobile account and lose all future promotions I had on that account. At that point, I was done and just told the guy to close the account and take back the device.

Today, I learned the POS never closed out the account but did indicate the device was turned back in. Slick Move on that CSR's part - He'll be explaining why tomorrow in front of his boss!

Checking social media, I see that others have also wrote about similar problems being a Sprint customer. T-Mobile's social media team tries to play the good guy, promising to take care of the issue and quickly get people move to IM, DM's, and e-mail...yet, nothing is ever done and people go back to social media to complain.

NO ONE at T-Mobile seems to have the balls to make a decision or fix the issue related to legacy Sprint Customers not able to take advantage of T-Mobile deals. Or I haven't found them yet!

As to lots of legacy Sprint customers getting in on the deal, maybe they had no promos left on their account that had to be finished out or were already converted into T-Mobile billing, or they gave up future promo payments to get in on this deal.
