Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?

I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.

If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

in Chicago, switched to T-mobile internet for couple weeks from Xfinity. Not feel any lagging, the only thing not working is Hulu live. $25/mo just no comparison.

Unless you want constant network lag issues and disconnects, stay away from TMobile 5G Internet. I got speeds up to 600Mbps, but the network lag was intolerable, so returned and went back to Xfinity.
What's your unloaded ping and loaded ping?

Their service is horrible. I had their 5G internet for a while. Suddenly one of their towers broke down. It took them nearly a month, A MONTH IN 2022 to fix it. Had so many issues! Never again.
Yeah heard about a similar experience with a customer's brother in law. Said he'd been at his house for weeks to use his internet.

Hopefully this will force Verizon to lower the monthly cost on their fixed wireless home internet plans as well. Right now there is discount but only if you are on certain vz unlimited cell phone plans $$$
Errrrrrr Verizon has been solid for 6 months here for me. I'm happy to pay $50 monthly as long as it stays the same. They still offer I believe $25 monthly with a qualified wireless plan.

Also my area has AT&T fiber available as well as Comcast, so that might be helping with local Verizon capacity being great. I'd rather have fiber but the existing phone cable route to my house is buried under a cross street then backyard pole fed. AT&T ain't digging that up. So most can get fiber here but me 🫤.

I really wanted to want TMobile 5g. Speed tests in my neighborhood range from 2mbps to 800mbps depending on time of day. Yes. 2-800. Even when I was getting a solid 80mbps in my home, I had frequent intermittent drops and ping spikes making the service impossible for playing video games.

Yes, we have the 55+ plan and got in on the $25 month TMobile Home internet. Had it for a couple of weeks now and I'm getting better speeds than what I get on Spectrum.

Seems like a scam. Remember those life time VPN services? If more and more users start to use their service, it becomes unusable. Eventually people will give up and forget it.

Yes, it works for mine on 55+. We are getting great speed so far and we live in the sticks.
