Shell Shocker deal. Ends in 5 hours. Probably the cheapest decent 240hz 2k monitor I've seen yet. Great reviews.

Thanks! Ordered. Seems like a great deal. This is my first order from Newegg and I hear they are terrible, but this deal is worth it imo. I will just inspect it fully ASAP and utilize the extended holiday returns if I need to.
Side note, my GPU is a 6600 xt which I understand is geared for 1080 but capable of 1440 on many games. Im not going to be pushing this monitor's 240hz on demanding titles in 1440 which I know, but I figure I can tune down the graphics for each situation and my limited understanding is that I might as well have it and not need it then not have it and need it. Hopefully that philosophy is accurate in regards to PC gaming (PC gaming newb here). Im really hoping that dumbing down a 1440 monitor to 1080 when needed wont perform or look worse then an actual 1080p monitor would.

I have pretty limited knowledge on this, as I'm also new to PC gaming. The most consistent negative reviews I see on 240HZ 1440P monitors is not being able to adjust the refresh rate to accommodate an underperforming GPU. Though, I haven't seen those comments on this particular monitor.. only cheaper models. But hey... if you have to sell it, you may make a profit! This was a pretty good deal IMO. Good luck, hope it works out great for you!
