Not really. 32gb ram vs 16 gb . 850W power vs 500w. Nvidia 3070ti vs 3070. Yes there is a $400 difference as well so I'm not saying this is a better deal—- only that it is not really a comparable deal.

After searching crazy for all the computer deals, I finally decided to build PC myself from newegg:
- Rosewill ZIRCON I ATX Mid Tower Gaming PC Computer Case with RGB Fan - $49.99
- ASUS Prime Z690-A LGA 1700 ATX motherboard - $219.99 (-$20 rebate)
- Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 850W 80+ Gold PSU - $104.99
- DeepCool AK400 Performance CPU Cooler - $27.99
- Samsung 980 PRO M.2 2280 1TB PCI-E SSD - $109.99
- Team T-Force Vulcan 32GB RAM DDR5 5600 - $129.99
- Wavlink AX3000 Wifi 6E PCIe + Bluetooth 5.2 - $29.99

and:
- Intel i7-13700k - $399.99 (ebay)
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8GB - $599.99 (bestbuy now oos)

Ended up paying $1652.91 + tax for this configuration! Just deliver them to your house and piece them up. I might end up spending $40 for thermal paste and other stuff, but ultimately for $1699, you should end up with a much better PC !!

This appears to me to be about on par with the Costco deals we've been seeing.

Nice. I've been watching this one hoping it comes down further in price:
https://www.lenovo.com/us/vipmemb...en102g0003

My research shows that it's a solid case, with very good internals. One thing worth noting: You allegedly can't upgrade to the RTX 40-series cards as there isn't enough room to accomodate their length.

Agree that they're not the same specs, but that the differences in spec and price are in the same scale as the Costco deals.
I think the bump in GPU and PSU make this the better choice even with the additional cost. 500W on the other deal just seemed way too low to me.

I ordered a very similar model and they went the cheaper route and put a generation 3 M2 drive in there even though all the slots are generation 4. if you plan on ordering I would check on it

This would have been perfect if it were an rtx3080. Hoping price will come down a bit in the new year when they launch the rtx4000 lower end series.

I bought almost this exact same model from lenovo.com with all the same specs except it came with a 3070 GPU and 16 gb DDR5, but i paid $1521 before taxes after education/1st responder discount and I used a CB website that is capital1XXXXping (not allowed to list the exact website on SD) with 30% CB so got $456 which is redeemable as a gift card with certain vendors such as walmart (too bad it doesn't have amazon).

I encourage you guys to try that CB website. you just need to visit a website like hp and lenovo once a day for like 4-5 days in a row then they will send you a 30% link by email. BH photovideo is one of their listed vendors, but i'm not sure you will get the same cash back amount.

It will become a great deal for tax heavy states like CA with the bh tax back credit card if you have one.

These have some software issues with the sound/headphone jack. Every time windows gets updated, the pc crashes when playing games or watching movies. Have to delete graphics card software and then download the original lenovo software for sound. Pain in the ass imo.

On top of the fact that the CPU is overclockable (with a K) and the RAM is a step up to DDR5, plus 6 fans instead of 2
