I bought it. Somewhere in my apartment is a grit factory. Even though I take my shoes off when I come in and sweep all the time I'm constantly stepping on tiny rocks. It would be really cool if this took care of the problem.

Refurbished by Amazon, which means they probably just cleaned it off from a return and called it good. But some of them may actually be new, so there's a chance that it's a killer deal. I did order one, so fingers crossed they're good.

Has anyone Removed the brush comb?

Does it make the vac substantially quieter?

Does it reduce the suction too much with the brush comb removed?

If hair is not a concern is removable a advantageous modification?

My iRobot self emptying may use bags but it actually works.

Get the "AI" series Shark that has LiDAR, I have the auto-empty version and it works well. This one is poorly reviewed and will lead to frustration.
